Frankfurter Botschaft - A message from Frankfurt
Last week I had a pleasure of visiting Frankfurter Botschaft restaurant in Frankfurt, Germany.
It is owned by Hamdi Abbas and Daniel Arons, who kindly greeted us on arrival.
Located on the river bank, minimalistic design restaurant felt really cosy and warm. After reading great reviews about the restaurant and the quality of the food as well as the pairs experience in the industry, we could not wait to start!
Frankfurter Botschaft has amazingly extensive list of wines to choose from and after we decided to go for a nice bottle of Barolo red wine , our sommelier kept it for us on the side to breathe in a glass carafe.
Before we even looked at the menus, we were offered a gorgeous ginger ale and orange cocktail and presented with two complimentary dishes from the chef: Tuna Tartar and Veal spoonfuls and Salmon with mash and carrot sauce which were absolutely gorgeous!
The menu was quite small but it had everyone covered for choices.
Me and my boyfriend both chose Herb Salmon from the Faroer Island with avocado, Thai couscous and oyster vinaigrette
For the mains we decided to choose different options so we can taste more dishes!
I had a medallion of Skrei with scallops, watercress and crosne while my boyfriend went for Slowly cooked saddle of dear with Piment d’Esperelle, shimeji mushrooms parsnip and Savoy cabbage slice.
Of course I always have some space for the dresser so I chose Manjari chocolate of Valrhona, ice cream of yogurt and olive oil with tangerine!
We absolutely loved this restaurant and most delfinitely visit it again when we are in Frankfurt! And I highly recommend it! 5 stars from us!
